Photographing a Cushion

It’s not often I get photos of me working as a photographer in Toronto. But the other weekend I had the privilege of photographing some product for Resident Supply. The shop owner snapped these gems of me working.

Dressing like her home was a happy coincidence.

I really enjoyed doing some product photography. Mostly I am out photographing people and when I shoot street during the week I also photograph still life like gas stations and buildings, etc.

But to actually have a job photographing still life is different. You need to photograph the lifeless cushion in a way that it looks alive and appealing.

It was a fun and different challenge.
