I am a photographer, and have been for 18+ years.
I am truly obsessed with taking photos. It has created a tremendous life experience for me.
Some of my best friends were originally people who found me online and hired me to shoot their wedding.
If I’m not shooting a wedding, I’m out photographing on the street, meeting and striking up conversations with strangers.
In the evenings, I watch movies to study cinematography in order to help hone my craft.
Photography has turned out to be just as much about building human connections as it is about making photographs.
It is such a privilege to have you consider me photograph such an important life event for you.

I photograph weddings with a documentary and artistic approach, looking beyond the obvious moments to preserve the feeling of the day—the quiet glances, the movement, the laughter, the people you love, and all the in-between moments you may not notice while they're happening.
After 18+ years of photographing weddings, I've learned that every celebration has its own rhythm.
Some weddings need nine hours of photography.
Some need four.
Some need only an hour or two.
I don't believe you should have to book an entire day simply because that's how wedding photography is usually packaged.
My goal isn't to photograph every minute.
It's to be there for the moments that matter.

The Intimate Collection is for couples who want meaningful, artful photographs without spending their entire wedding day in front of a camera.
Whether you're planning an intimate wedding, city hall ceremony, elopement, dinner celebration, or a shorter wedding day, you can choose exactly how much of your celebration you'd like photographed.
There is no minimum coverage requirement.
You can book me for one hour, two hours, four hours, or as much of the day as you need.
Your wedding is photographed personally by me, Dzesika, using a combination of digital photography and 35mm film.
I work quietly and intuitively, allowing the day to unfold naturally while looking for the moments, relationships, gestures and atmosphere that make your celebration yours.

Some weddings unfold slowly.
There are the quiet hours before the ceremony, getting ready with the people closest to you, the anticipation, the ceremony itself, portraits, dinner, speeches, dancing, and all the unexpected moments that happen in between.
The Signature Collection gives us the time to follow that entire arc.
I photograph every Signature wedding personally as the lead photographer, with Eddie joining me as a second photographer.
Together, we can move through the day from different perspectives—photographing what is happening in front of us while also looking for everything happening just outside the obvious frame.
As with all of my wedding photography, the day is photographed on a combination of digital and 35mm film.
Digital gives us the flexibility to document everything as it unfolds. Film brings another layer of texture, imperfection and atmosphere to the story.
This collection also extends beyond the wedding day with a conceptual engagement session and two printed film zines.

Having two photographers allows us to photograph more of what is happening simultaneously and gives your final gallery greater depth and variety.

Two hours of candid documentary coverage of your rehearsal dinner.
It's a relaxed opportunity for your guests to meet me and become familiar with my approach before the wedding.
We'll also make a few portraits of the two of you before I leave.
The rehearsal dinner becomes another chapter in the story of your wedding weekend.

An entire roll of film is scanned into strips, with the photographs I selected marked in red ink—the traditional way of editing photographs in a darkroom.
The contact sheet is then printed as a fine-art archival print and framed in a thin black metal frame with a classic white border.

I'm available for weddings outside Toronto and love photographing celebrations in new places.
Travel expenses are quoted based on the location and logistics of your wedding. If flights or overnight accommodations are required, those costs are added separately.
