I shot your wedding - now what?
Online Gallery
I will be sending you an online gallery within a week of your wedding day. It will contain some preview photos from the day. Your online album will be updated with new folders as I edit your photographs.
This gallery can be shared with your family and friends. All they need is the link and password to access the album.
The online album will be hosted for one year from the date that I complete editing your photographs.
You can expect for your photographs to be completed within three months from the wedding date.
The photographs contained on your online album are resized, and therefore good for online use only; not printing.
If you like to mark some photographs as “private” so friends and family are unable to see the photograph, please follow the directions included when you access your Pixieset album.
Thank You Photos
Do you need some high resolution couple photographs for Thank You cards delivered sooner than three months?
If you checked off “yes” on the questionnaire, you can expect to receive a download link from me within a couple of weeks.
Deliverables
You will receive your photographs edited on a USB key. The USB key will contain all of your photographs (including digitized scans of your film photographs), and all of your digital photographs. The photos on your USB key are high resolution; meaning they are good for printing.
Your USB key is a reliable little back up, but please still back up your images onto an external hard drive, cloud or Dropbox to ensure you will have them forever.
I will be shipping out your package, containing your USB key, some film prints, film negatives to the address you provided to me on your questionnaire. Please make sure that address is current.
Printing
Perhaps you’d like to get some of your photographs printed.
Where can you do that and how?
Here are a list of places in Toronto:
Memento Film Lab
The beauty with Memento is that they use a dark room process. Meaning your images are printed with exposure to the photo paper as opposed to ink. This will give your photographs a richness to it.
Downtown Camera
The 4x6 print quality is good. It is your standard photo printing. The nice thing with Downtown Camera is that you can email them your photographs through their online portal, and they will ship it directly to you.
Pikto
Pikto does a nice, fine art style printing. Meaning the prints are a little thicker, and have a museum quality to them. They are also based online, and can ship directly to you.
In any case, I do not recommend using the Kodak self-service machines that print your images instantly. They compress, auto correct and sharpen your photographs and as a result, your images will look nothing like the original edited version. They will most likely look pixelated.
